Marketplace Turbo Privacy Policy
Effective: August 22, 2026
This policy explains how version 0.7.5 of the LoanSide Marketplace Turbo Chrome extension handles information when a user signs in, verifies subscription access, and asks the extension to prepare a Facebook Marketplace housing draft from a Zillow property page.
In plain language: Marketplace Turbo uses your LoanSide login only to authenticate your account and verify your subscription or trial. It reads the Zillow property you choose, stores the current transfer and settings locally in Chrome, and places the selected information into your Facebook Marketplace draft. It does not store your password, publish the draft, or send scraped Zillow listing information to LoanSide or Supabase.
Information handled by the extension
LoanSide account and authentication information
When a user signs in through the extension, it handles the email address and password entered by the user. Those credentials are transmitted directly over HTTPS to LoanSide’s Supabase authentication service. The extension does not store the password. After successful authentication, Supabase returns a session containing authentication tokens and basic account information. The session is stored locally in the user’s Chrome profile so the user can remain signed in.
The extension reads the signed-in user’s email address and requests only the access information needed to determine whether Marketplace Turbo is unlocked: subscription status, trial end date, and the resulting access decision. Payment-card and billing details are not requested by the extension.
Zillow property and Marketplace information
The extension reads property information from the Zillow home-details page selected by the user. This may include the property address, price, bedrooms, bathrooms, living-area square footage, property type, description, Zillow property ID, and photo URLs.
The extension also stores the user’s Marketplace defaults and optional reusable description header and footer text. When the workflow starts from LoanSide, the extension reads the listing reference code and internal listing record ID supplied in the Zillow URL fragment.
How information is used
Account and authentication information is used only to sign the user into LoanSide, maintain the local authenticated session, and verify whether the user has an active subscription or trial that includes Marketplace Turbo.
Zillow property information is used only to display the detected property to the user and prepare supported fields and photos in a Facebook Marketplace housing draft. The extension does not publish the draft. The user must review and publish manually.
Storage and retention
The Supabase authentication session, including authentication tokens and the account email associated with that session, is stored locally through chrome.storage.local. It remains until the user signs out of the extension, clears the extension’s data, or uninstalls the extension. The password entered at sign-in is not written to Chrome storage by the extension.
The current property information, optional LoanSide listing reference and record ID, Marketplace settings, and transfer diagnostics are also stored locally through chrome.storage.local. They remain until overwritten, cleared, or removed when Chrome deletes the extension’s local data. Downloaded photo bytes are held temporarily in browser memory during transfer and are not written to the user’s Desktop or Downloads folder by the extension.
Subscription access results may be cached briefly in extension memory to avoid repeated access checks and are discarded when the extension’s background process ends.
Service providers and sharing
Supabase: LoanSide uses Supabase as a service provider for account authentication, local session renewal, and the subscription-access check. Credentials, authentication tokens, account email, subscription status, and trial end date are handled by Supabase for those purposes.
Facebook: When the user requests a transfer, property information and photos are placed into the user’s Facebook Marketplace draft within the browser. Facebook receives that information only after the user starts the workflow. Information ultimately submitted to Facebook is controlled by the user and is subject to Meta’s terms and privacy policies.
The extension does not sell user information. It does not transmit scraped Zillow property information to LoanSide, Supabase, advertising networks, analytics providers, or data brokers.
Information not collected
The extension does not collect Facebook passwords, Facebook authentication cookies, private messages, contacts, payment-card information, or general browsing history. It does not use advertising trackers or analytics. Subscription billing is handled on the LoanSide website, not inside the extension.
Permissions
The extension requests access only to LoanSide’s Supabase domain for authentication and subscription verification, the Zillow property pages and image hosts needed to read the user-selected listing, Facebook Marketplace’s housing creation page needed to prepare the draft, and local Chrome storage needed to retain the signed-in session, prevent stale transfers, and remember user settings.
Security
Authentication and subscription requests are transmitted to Supabase using HTTPS. Authentication tokens are not intentionally displayed publicly or included in the property transfer. Users should not include passwords or session information in screenshots sent to support.
Chrome Web Store Limited Use
The use of information received from Chrome APIs adheres to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Information is used only to provide or improve the extension’s single user-facing purpose.
User choices
Users can sign out inside the extension to remove the local Supabase session and current transfer information, overwrite the saved property by starting a new transfer, clear extension data through Chrome’s extension settings, or uninstall the extension. Users can manage their LoanSide account and subscription through loansideapp.com. For account deletion or privacy requests, contact LoanSide using the method below.
Policy changes
This policy may be updated when extension features or information practices change. Material changes will be disclosed before the updated practices are introduced.
